Description:
Russian 3: The course is closely connected and linked to the previous levels 1 and 2 while at the same time challenging students to take charge of their knowledge and implement acquired and new skills in the classroom and at home. Each lesson is structured in a way that allows students to demonstrate their reading, writing, perception, listening, and conversation skills. Home reading is an essential part of the class, as well as recitation of poems by heart. 1/3 of the class is dedicated to grammar learning and skills, specifically Parts of Speech, construction of simple and complex sentences, lexical topics, like synonyms and antonyms, etc. Each lesson is concluded with fun interactive tasks that allow students to summarize their knowledge and showcase their skills.

Learn your part of the poem, describe 1 person in Appendix 1 using the model we worked on in the classroom, start your “My family” project (due on 10/19)

Please, bring the posters with photo collages about your summer vacation. Label each picture and be ready to explain who is on the picture, when and where it was taken. Learn the poem by heart (try your best). Read the dialogues (Ex 2), practice reading and pronunciation.
