We are excited to announce the launch of our new school website! May 18 is the final day of in-person classes. The day is packed with celebrations: Art Exhibition, Math Battles, Awards, Moving-Up Ceremony, Theater, Games, and Graduation! We also say Farewell to our TAs leaving for college. See you there! More details to follow.
SchoolNova students, grades 1 through 12, are invited to participate in Math Kangaroo 2025. The regular registration is open from September 15 until December 31. Students in grades 12 and below are invited to participate in AMC 10/12 B Olympiad. The competition is administered on Tuesday, November 12 (evening). It is free of charge, but seats are limited. The registration is open now! To register, fill this form:  The time and location TBA.

New families are welcome to register for SchoolNova's in-person and online classes starting 8/8. Students are enrolled in the classes on the "first come, first served" basis. Email us with any questions at info@schoolnova.org

SchoolNova was hosting AMC 8 on November 12, 2019. More than 55 students from SchoolNova and local community have participated.
Test for students applying to levels 2 and higher: PLACE: the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics in Stony Brook University. TIME: Registration starts at 6:30 PM and the test itself begins at 6:45 PM. Interview for students applying to levels 0 and 1 (ages 6 and 7): PLACE: room R131, 1st floor of math building. TIME: 6 pm and 7pm. We would like to ask some families to come by 6 pm and others – by 7 pm.

As before, SchoolNova, together with the math department, will be offering AMC 10/12B. It will be given on Feb 15, 2018. Daylight Savings Time goes into effect this Sunday, March 11. All clocks are moved forward by one hour at 2:00 AM standard time, and the time becomes 3:00 AM daylight savings time (DST).
