Description:
This is the ninth (9) year in the sequence of the mathematical courses offered by SchoolNova. This year, we will study combinatorics, logic and proof theory, axiomatic Euclidean geometry with a special emphasis on proving the results from basic axioms, and number theory. In addition, as usual, we will also solve many interesting problems from all areas of mathematics. However, the main emphasis will be on teaching students to solve problems that require some knowledge of basic topics and are not straightforward exercises but require some creativity. The handouts containing the assignments and sometimes the basic theory will be given to each class. In addition, each student will need a binder, notebook, and pencil.

There is no new homework. Please go over the problems from the last one and make sure that you understand how Euclid's algorithms works and how it can be used to solve equations in whole numbers.

Euclidea: For the next homework, please finish Euclidea levels alpha and beta. Make sure you can get ALL POINT available -- and if you can't seem to find a solution that gives you max points, feel free to search for a hint over Google -- but you must understand WHY the hint works!
