SchoolNova at Stony Brook introduced math clubs specifically designed for middle and high school students in 2015. In 2017, we expanded our offerings by introducing math clubs for elementary school students as well. In 2018, we further expanded our program to include Physics clubs. SchoolNova students enrolled in regular Math or Physics classes can register for the Math and Physics clubs for middle school students at no cost. The number of sessions in each club is 25.
Math clubs for elementary through middle school students:
- Club 5 for students in grades 4-6. Instructor: Vibha Mane. Read more

- Clubs 4, 5, and 7 are free of charge for SchoolNova students and only require a material fee (TBD by the instructor). To be enrolled in a math club for middle school, a student has to take a regular math class at SchoolNova.
Physics club for middle school students (grades 7–9):

- This club is free of charge for SchoolNova students.
- To be enrolled in the Physics Club, students must take a regular physics class at SchoolNova.
- The club might require some material fee (TBD by the instructor).
Advanced Math and Physics clubs:
We are proud to offer advanced math and physics clubs that are open and free to anyone in the community who has a passion for these subjects. You do NOT have to take classes at SchoolNova to attend our advanced clubs.
- Advanced Math Problem-Solving club (grades 9–12). Instructor: Alexander Kirillov. Meetings are held primarily in person at Stony Brook University. Read more
