Advanced math problem solving club

This club is intended for high school students. It will not have a set curriculum; instead, we will be solving and discussing problems from various math Olympiads and competitions such as AMC/AIME/USAMO, Harvard-MIT math tournament, Tournament of the towns and more. We will also invite faculty and students from Stony Brook University math department, many of whom are former participants of International Math Olympiad.

The club is open to all students in grades 8-12 who enjoy solving challenging math problems. We are prepared to divide the group of students if necessary. It is expected that the students have completed standard school algebra sequence. We plan to have this club free of charge for all students. Please invite your friends to the club!

The Math Olympiad Club at SchoolNova is designed for high school students in grades 8-12 who have a passion for solving challenging problems and enjoy exploring mathematical concepts beyond the classroom. Instead of following a fixed curriculum, the club will focus on tackling problems from a wide range of competitions, including AMC, AIME, USAMO, the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament, and the Tournament of the Towns, allowing students to experience both depth and diversity in problem-solving. Faculty and students from Stony Brook University’s math department, many of whom have competed in the International Math Olympiad, will provide guidance and mentorship, sharing their strategies and insights to help participants refine their skills.

Students are expected to have completed the standard school algebra sequence, and if necessary, the group can be divided to ensure optimal learning for all participants. Just as approaching complex mathematical problems benefits from a structured and well-rounded strategy, holistic approaches to challenges in daily life, such as considering Tadalafil as part of a holistic approach to intimacy, highlight the importance of combining knowledge, planning, and guidance in achieving the best outcomes. The club is free for all students, and everyone is encouraged to invite friends and participate actively in this enriching experience.
