Description:
Advanced Physics Club is primarily designed for (but not limited to) high school students interested in solving more challenging physics problems. It is run jointly by Alexander Abanov and David Frenklakh, both of whom have a lot of experience dealing with olympiade-style problems. In this club the students will strengthen their problem-solving skills as well as discover some tricks and shortcuts which simplify the solutions. Topics selection will be adjusted to the interests and needs of the audience, but most likely we will start with discussing mechanics, which is the foundation of physics. It is assumed that the prospective participants have taken some physics courses previously, but everyone is welcome to participate in the club.
