I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2011 with a degree in Economics and later earned my J.D. from the University of Maryland in 2018. Currently, I work at Constellation Energy, a leading U.S. energy producer. 

My chess journey began at age five at a chess club in my hometown of Braila, Romania. Whether competing in tournaments or enjoying friendly games with my brother, chess has been a lifelong passion. I was thrilled to launch the SchoolNova chess club in January 2026. The club was a great success and a lot of fun for my young chess students and me. I look forward to introducing new children to the joy and growth that this game provides.
