About me
I feel incredibly grateful to become a part of the SchoolNova community. Here is a little bit about me. I am originally from Russia, where I lived until 2007. I earned my Ph.D. in Sociology from Lomonosov Moscow State University and worked at the same University for about five years after my defense. After coming to the US in 2012, I got a full-time job in a large construction firm that builds universities, hospitals, and even museums!
I’m a Three Village School District resident, and I live here with my lovely family: my husband and our two kids. We love to spend quality time together: playing math and logic games and doing sports like swimming, biking, kayaking, hiking, and ice skating.
I love to be an involved parent and to see my children thrive. From an early age, I engaged them in different math enrichment activities. For many years, I have been collecting hands-on materials, games and other challenges, which I will be happy to share with my students at SchoolNova.
