About me

I am a Korean-American artist based in Stony Brook, New York. I started my career as an artist at Poly Gallery, Karlsruhe in Germany. Since my debut in 2011, I have showcased my works in over 70 exhibitions across the United States, Germany, and France, among others. I have been honored with awards from various international and national competitions. In addition, I engage in various activities such as children's book publishing, art business, and blogging.

My main focus is capturing the unique energy within objects using acrylic, watercolor, and digital art. I believe art is akin to nature, with a constant state of flux yet possessing an enduring narrative.

In addition to my artistic pursuits, I am dedicated to teaching children and earned a master's degree in educational theater, storytelling, and art at Adelphi University. As an art educator, I aim to instill a lifelong love for art in my students and prepare them for a world driven by creativity and innovation.

I hope my students can recognize and develop their potential, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with them.
