Description: Math Clubs were open at SchoolNova about 10 years ago. This club accepts students from grades 4 to 6. The club's goal is to foster interest in mathematics for young children through problem-solving and preparing for National and International math competitions. In addition, students develop creative problem-solving skills by participating in the MOEMS Math Olympiad. Students also work on an investigative project with topics from Probability, Combinatorics, and Codes & Ciphers. We learn the most optimal and creative way to solve problems, present the solution, and, of course, play math games. The club is free of charge for SN students from grades 4, 5, and 6. However, each student enrolled in the free club must also be enrolled in the regular SN math class.
