Description:
Math 6 is a dynamic class in which we first introduce each of the topics that we will cover throughout the course, after which the students apply these new concepts to solve related problems. This is the level at which students start learning the direct relation between math and logic and learning concepts from linear equations in more depth, going through arithmetic and probability, and going through some geometrical constructs. The professor and the TA will help the students solve the problems and solve some more confusing problems.

There is no homework, so you can use this opportunity to catch up on any homework that you didn't submit previously. Any problem for the tournament that you hand in the next class will also count, but they will count for only half of the points.

We did a Math battle. Your homework for next week is to finish the problems from the previous handout.
-
For next week you only need to do the first 5 problems. We will work on the rest next week.
-
We continued with the set of problems from the previous week. For next class, you need to do the rest of the problems. That is, you need to solve all the problems except for proving Theorems 11 and 12. If you did not prove the theorems last week, make sure to do it for this one.
-
For the next class, your only homework is to prove Theorems 11 and 12. We will work on the rest of the material next Sunday.

-
As homework for next class you need to solve problems 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 12, 15, 18. Make sure to try all of the problems. If you can't solve a problem, we will solve it together at the beginning of next class.
