This is a hands-on, gentle introduction to programming and algorithms. We will be designing simple programs and games, then students write the code and run the programs on their laptops, sharing their results with the class. Programming will be done in Python or Javascript and I will ask students to install software as per instructions given prior to starting the class. Be prepared to share your work with the others. A basic familiarity with using a computer is needed. There are no other prerequisites and there will be no homework for this class.
