Time: Saturday 11:00AM - 12:15PM
Grades: 7-9
Prerequisites:
Material fee: $0.00

Description: In this course, we will cover an introduction to machine learning. We will go over the field of Artificial Intelligence, its applications, and common terminology. It is a hands-on programming course where we will utilize the Google Colab environment to build and test simple machine learning models with TensorFlow. We will learn about linear regression, training, loss, and datasets. Students will have the opportunity to work on a project where they build their own machine learning model based on prebuilt datasets. They will be able to visualize their data and the performance of their model, presenting their findings at the end of the session.-------------------Prerequisites: Students should have some background in Python and be at least comfortable with list manipulation. Students should also be familiar with mathematical concepts such as algebra and linear relationships. --------------Homework Commitment: Students will be assigned small exercises to reinforce key concepts for homework that should not take more than half an hour to an hour.
