Description: This course will teach students in grades 6-8 about the fundamentals of using Python 3. Students in this course will be guided by small weekly homework projects which should take less than 2 hours per week. This class covers basic Python syntax, print statements, and variables before progressing through using lists, tuples, and dictionaries. After this, we will cover flow control through conditional statements (if, else if) and loops. At the end of the class, students will be challenged to apply their learning in an open-ended assignment in Week 5. This course is for complete Python beginners.
