This is the ninth (9) year in the sequence of the mathematical courses offered by SchoolNova. <p> </p> In Math 8, we will study Combinatorics (for example, Pascal’s Triangle, Binomial Theorem), Logic (for example Logical Operations, Truth Tables, Conditionals, Quantifiers), proof-based plane Euclidean geometry, and Number Theory (for example Divisibility, Euclid’s Algorithm, Prime Factorization, Congruence, Inverses). We will work on improving algebra skills and explore other topics as well. You will receive a weekly homework along with the material covered in class. Have a notebook, a pencil and an eraser close to you. Be ready to share your results, and interact with your classmates.
